   Unfortunately, children are sometimes caught in traumatic, emotional and transitional situations.


  You can help.

S.A.F.E. accept donations of new and gently used stuffed animals and redistributes them to emergency organizations in Arkansas and Missouri.

Thanks to these kids hard work Little Rock Fire Department, Camp Sunshine,   Arkansas Childrens Hospital Burn Unit, our servicemen in Iraq, Neelyville Fire Department, Animal Shelters, and Ash Flat Fire Department have each received hundreds of stuffed animals. Thank you again!

Help us help others

AM S.A.F.E
collects new and gently used toys and redistributes the toys to emergency
response organizations throughout both states.
We accept new and gently used stuffed animals.
When we receive used stuffed animals, we clean and make any needed repairs.

Small new items are preferred by Police and Fire & Rescue, due to the limited space in their vehicles
and the health condition of many of the children they help.

Every agency is different.
Larger stuffed animals are given to other organizations such as shelters,
family and children's services, community Christmas programs and libraries.

Animals that are just too well-loved may be redistributed to animal shelters.
Puppies and kitties like stuffed animals too.


We are always happy to help get stuffed animals to our soldiers!!  Our soldiers, marines and airmen give the stuffed animals to Iraqi children they come in contact with.  However you can help us and help the military by shipping directly to our military members. You pay postage only for in the US, not overseas....the post office will even supply you a box and packing material...go to http://www.usps.com for information. Depending on size, up to two dozen can be shipped priority mail to our military for a flat rate of $9.95 USD. To date, Beanies for Baghdad has received and distributed over 1 MILLION TOYS and other needed items to the children of War Torn Iraq, Afghanistan and now Kosovo. There are several units that need your help and beanies for baghdad will let you know which units to mail to.  Due to changes in deployments, addresses do change and beanies for baghdad strives to keep their information current. 
 
Due to the religious climate of the countries our military is serving in, PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE FOLLOWING:
-Do not send any religious material.
-Do not send angel bears, prayer bears, etc.
